2017 - EASTERN F-CLASS CHAMPIONSHIPS - OTTAWA

Five very fine New Brunswick F-Class shooters attended the eastern F-Class Championships in Ottawa last weekend and gave an extremely good account of themselves. We congratulate them on a very fine showing and for representing the Fullbore Section and the shooters of New Brunswick so well.


In the Grand Aggregate, out of  40 competitors, New Brunswick shooters ranked as follows:
#13 - Adam MacDonald - 407.26V
#16 - Gordon Holloway - 403.16V
#26 - Matt Wolf - 385.15V
#33 - Francis Bezeau - 371.18V
#36 - Ken Kyle - 368.19V

The first place finish was Kevin Chou from Kingston Ontario with 423.25V

In Team Shooting, the New Brunswick Team composed of Captain Gordon Holloway, Coach Adam MacDonald, Francis Bezeau and Ken Kyle placed fourth in a field of  8 teams with a score of 532.26V  The USA F/TR team scored 547.27V; the Canada F/TR Team scored 541.29V and a team called "Da Bulls" scored 540.29V

Conditions, as seen from the plot below, were extreme at times, with significant wind shifts.
