2.   John Marshall, Captain of Team Nova Scotia, sends this message:

Hi Michelle;
As captain of the Nova Scotia Rifle team, I would like to express our sincere gratitude for the wonderful hospitality that we all received on the week-end. Many on our team, including myself, considered this past week-end one of the best matches that we have attended in a very long time, you should be very proud.

The banquet was great, good food and well attended. You Michelle, along with your Dad, deserve a lot of credit, for the professional manner in which the two days of events were conducted. Everyone thought the lunches were over and above the call of duty, they were absolutely excellent. The score boards were a nice thing to see, just like old times, the range itself was in great shape and the electronic targets added a nice touch.

I said to Ron on a couple of occasions, that this range will become the range of choice by both in province and out of province shooters in the very near future, Thanks again Michelle for a great week end.

John Marshall
Chairman, Fullbore Section, N.S.R.A.

3. Mitch MacLeod from Team Prince Edward Island sends the following:

Dear Michelle,

Thanks to you and all from RNBRA for a fabulous weekend of competition.

After being reluctantly absent from full-bore target rifle most of the past two years, it was exciting to get back shooting in any competition, at any range. It was my good fortune to get back in competition last weekend at your home range. The RNBRA, and range at St. Antoine made several terrific impressions on me:

1. Target rifle shooting in NB has improved greatly in quality and quantity - best evidenced by NB's impressive victory in the Inter-Maritime championship, beating a Nova Scotia  team stacked with quality shooters. I am certain that your facility in St. Antoine, and improvements made in recent years, contributed greatly to New Brunswick's victory in this most prestigious team competition.

2. The great sportsmanship and honour shown by RNBRA members in helping fill out the PEI team so we had a real shoot, on real terms. My personal gratitude goes out to Edgar, Nancy, JC and Francis for being there for us with enthusiasm and selfless sportsmanship.

3. The Range - what a difference a few years make ! While I know the project started many years ago, I see the great progress, and great effort that has gone into that progress, over the past two years. As a direct result of RNBRA members like you (and some guy you may know by the name of Ron Surette, along with many others), your range is useful to all shooters, in almost every discipline. I believe you are but an indoor short-range facility away from being the best in the region, and on par internationally, able to cover all forms of marksmanship at the highest level. It was truly awesome to see what you folks have accomplished in servicing all shooters in a professional, safe, and welcoming environment. The fact that your Range sits near the middle of the Maritimes doesn't hurt either, and bodes well for the future.

4. Service - and I don't just mean the "service with a smile" we all received from you and your fabulous assistants at meal times :) I mean the clear dedication of all RNBRA members, shooting or not, to work selflessly to ensure the best possible experience for all. From targets to range officer duties to facilities management to food and hospitality - you and your fellow RNBRA members honoured all of us who came over, and accordingly your home range and association, to the highest degree. I do not say this lightly. I have seen what it takes to do what you and your range and your associaiton did this past weekend, from "both ends of the telescope". Excellent work in all respects.

So with that I'll simply say a final thanks for making my return to full bore the very best I could have asked for. I shot "not so well", but left feeling all was for the best, not just for me, but for the sport, for your superlative range, and people behind it.

Awesome.

Kindest regards.

A Bientot.

Mitch
